Platforms like Twitter are searching for new ways in which they can moderate content. Twitter announced they will pilot a feature that allows people to submit notes on tweets that may be false or misleading. This pilot called 'Birdwatch' is being tested with a sample of users in the United States first. The company admitted that this new approach could have important downfalls, but they think it is worth trying since it might help to give a quicker response when misleading information spreads.
