According to the Independent, Israeli surveillance firm NSO has developed a new software to map the spread of the coronavirus through tracking patients' mobile data. The new software, which is being piloted by several countries, comes amid increasing privacy concerns during the outbreak. The software is said to allow governments to reach out with individuals who had come into the proximity of infected patients and warn them they are at risk.
