At the F8 Developer Conference in San Francisco, Facebook presented its plans for the coming ten years. Facebook's most talked about innovation is the development of 'chatbots', which companies can use to interact with their customers on Facebook's Messenger app. Other innovations include live video feeds, virtual reality cameras, augmented reality glasses and a 'save to Facebook'-button. Furthermore, in a keynote speech, Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg addressed several political issues, including Donald Trump's plan to build a wall, China's resistance to Facebook's expansion, and India's blockage of Free Basics, leading Zuckerberg to conclude: 'I'm starting to see people and nations turning inward against this idea of a connected world,' as authorities are 'blocking free expression, reducing trade and even in some areas reducing access to the internet.'
