The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has deployed smart robots to sterilise public hospitals and clinics. The robots, named UVD Robots, use artificial intelligence (AI) and ultraviolet-powered sterilisation to move automatically and scan surfaces efficiently. A Danish company that developed UVD Robots said the use of the robots aims to prevent and reduce the spread of infectious diseases, viruses, bacteria, and other harmful microorganisms by breaking down their DNA structure.
