Unicef, Grameenphone, and Telenor have signed a partnership agreement in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for a project titled 'Strengthening and Scaling Child Online Protection in Bangladesh' that aims to train over 1.2 million children on cybersafety. The program will also train 400 000 parents, teachers, and caregivers on protecting children online and expects to reach up to 20 million people through an integrated communication campaign and around 50 000 people in taking supportive action. The project also aims to come up with an action plan to mainstream a child protection online initiative in Bangladesh.
