A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack on 24 October 2022 momentarily knocked down the independent Indonesian news website Konde.co, according to press sources and the publication's editor-in-chief, Luviana Ariyanti. The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) condemned the attackand demanded that Indonesian authorities conduct their own inquiry into the cyberattack on the news website and identify its offenders.
