Only 10 days after a Moscow Court revoked Novaya Gazeta's print license, the Russian Supreme Court revoked its online media license. This media outlet has been working independently for nearly 30 years and now has lost its right to exist.
Novaya Gazeta chief editor, Dmitry Muratov, condemned the verdict, claiming that it would prevent Novaya Gazeta reporters from contacting authorities, would remove their accreditation status, and would impose several restrictions on their operations.
