The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS)Commission and the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), will behosting the inaugural symposium on The State of the Caribbean Internet in St Kitts on December 2019. The theme for the event is 'Accelerating development of the Caribbean Internet economy and society'.

This inaugural symposium is part of a wider initiative by the OECS Commission and ARIN, to help accelerate development of the Caribbean Internet economy and society. The multistakeholder dialogue will focus on: 1) International developments & threats and Caribbean implications, 2) Empowering communities & developing digital skills, 3) Mapping Internet governance and public policy: Closing gaps, creating opportunities, and 4) Highlighting Caribbean achievements: Public and private sector innovations and wins.
