The Hive ransomware group has claimed responsibility for a recent cyberattack against India's largest power company, Tata Power. As reported by bleepingcomputer, following presumably futile ransom negotiations, the threat actor started disclosing data allegedly taken from Tata Power on their leak site.
According to details shared by security researcher Rakesh Krishnan, the leak contains personally identifiable information (PII), including Aadhaar identity numbers, permanent account numbers (PAN), drivers' licenses, salary specifics, and engineering drawings.
