The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the South Asia Media Solidarity Network (SAMSN), have called for the Indian government to immediately restore all communications to the Kashmir Valley. According to a news report, the call by two groups, comprising 37 media unions in South Asia as well as global freedom of expression organisations, came after authorities in Jammu and Kashmir once again extended the ban on 4G high-speed mobile Internet services in the region until 15 April.
