Indonesian activists have condemned a series of widespread and coordinated cyberattacks on journalists and employees of news outlet Narasi and urged the police to act immediately. This media company is known for its criticism of the government.
The attacks aimed to take control of Narasi employees' Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts, said the head of the newsroom, Laban Laisila.
Advocates condemned the attack on press freedom and urged law enforcement not to take sides when dealing with cyberattacks.
