Spam volumes continue to decrease

Areport from the security company Trustwave shows that spam volumes fell constantly over the past five years; if in 2010, spam represented 84.9% of total inbound email, it fell to 54% in 2015. This might be due to 'a combination of general lack of profitability and a growing fear of prosecution on the part of large bonnet operators'. Malicious spam represented 5% of the total spam volume in 2015, down with only 6% compared to the previous year.
