Singapore develops preliminary national standards for driverless vehicles

Singapore Land Transport Authority, with Enterprise Singapore, standards development organisations, and the Singapore Standards Council developed a set of preliminary national standards for driverless vehicles. The standards, known as technical reference 68 (TR 68), were developed last year and aim to promote the development and use of vehicles in SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Level 4 and 5 which are fully autonomous driverless vehicles.
