The second International E-Waste Day aims to raise global awareness on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and encourage consumers to recycle their e-waste. Up to 100 organisations from over 40 countries will carry out a number of initiatives, conferences, school and city collections, information campaigns and promotions, to name a few.
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has become a partner in this year's International E-Waste Day.
