Hackers have carried out a ransomware attack on Kaseya, an IT management software provider. The hackers targeted Kaseya's VSA product, the Virtual System/Server Administrator used by Kaseya customers to monitor and manage their infrastructure.
The attack affected hundreds of Kaseya customers across more than ten countries. Kaseya's CEO said that Kaseya wasn't aware that any critical infrastructure had been hit by the ransomware.
Russia-linked REvil is believed to be behind the attack.
