It's a golden age for media and entertainment service providers. The rise of IP and cloud technologies has made it easier to increase audience engagement through more and new forms of content. With these new technologies, content can be delivered across devices and into new environments.
But organizations need help implementing these technologies and using them effectively.
At Cisco, we're helping to power new opportunities to create, manage and distribute digital content. This is being done through our intelligent and secure platforms that help media and entertainment providers increase revenue and profitability.
To capitalize on these new opportunities, it's essential that the implementation of IP and cloud technology is industrialized and repeatable across industry. It's important, too, that operations are standardized and measurable, so that organizations can get the most business value out of their technology investments.
For partners, there's a huge opportunity to help with this transition. To do so means that training and skillsets have to keep up with the technology.
Cisco is committed to enabling content, media and service providers to thrive in the digital age. And that means delivering disruptive solutions for networking, multi-cloud, security, data and collaboration. Our goal is to equip professionals with the right skills and expertise to addressing the IP skills gap in the broadcast space.
That's why we're offering these upcoming in-person training sessions for the IP Fabric for Media solution:

The IP Fabric for Media training program
The IP Fabric for Media global training program is designed to drive critical skills development and expertise. It's aimed at broadcast engineers who will use IP technologies to replace Serial Digital Interface (SDI)-based deployments. You'll be able to help them future-proof their infrastructure, secure the network with access control and preserve existing media operations and flow.
IP Fabric for Media Solution (IPFMSN)is a four-day, instructor-led course that introduces the IPFM solution. The objective of this course is to explore IPFM deployment, operation, and troubleshooting.
Curriculum will focus on the IP Fabric Media and Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) Media Controller, a core component of the solution. The course includes lab exercises centered on building IP Fabric as a foundation for a complete IPFM solution. Your team will learn how to deploy and troubleshoot the DCNM Media Controller to control flows through the fabric.
IP Foundation for Broadcast Engineers (CCIPFM)is a five-day course that introduces IT professionals to IP networking and the Cisco IP Fabric for Media (IPFM) solution, including deployment, operation and troubleshooting. It combines IP fundamentals with the complete contents of the Operating Cisco IP Fabric for Media Solution (IPFMSN) course.
This course will provide attendees with familiarity with IP technologies. They'll learn to use Cisco IPFM to deploy a flexible, scalable and secure IP-based media infrastructure. They'll get to practice what they learn through hands-on lab exercises.
