US Senate Democrats say they oppose efforts to weaken net neutrality rules

In apress conference held earlier this week, six Democratic members of the US Senate have expressed their support for strong net neutrality rules, and said that they would not allow action by the Federal Communications Commission or Congress that undermine those rules. The Senators underlined the fact that the existing FCC net neutrality rules are effective in protecting consumers and the open Internet, and that they oppose any regulatory or legislative efforts to repeal the rules, or any refusal to enforce them.
