The UK government publishes code of practice for testing automated vehicles for public input

Thecode of practice includes guidance on testing automated vehicle technologies in public places in the UK and recommendations on how to maintain safety during the trials. The code is based on the 2015 guide and it provides clearer guidance on: increasing the safety and responsibility of trials, and improving trial transparency by engaging with the public, authorities, and other entities when planning trials.
