According to a report, Spain's general secretary of digital health, Alfredo Gozalez, announced that the country will not require travelers from Europe to quarantine or take a COVID-19 test upon arrival if they have the Digital Green Certificate, which the EU is developing and planning to roll out in the summer. The certificate will come in the form of a QR code and is expected to be available by the end of June 2021. The certificate will allow a country's authorities to check three pieces of information: if the traveler has been vaccinated, if they have had the COVID-19, if they are tested negative against COVID-19.
