Sony Playstation and the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP) have partnered to raise awareness on climate change amongst gamers. Together, they established an immersive video that shows how the daily activities of gamers in developed countries contribute to pollution and emission of carbon dioxide (CO2).
The initiative builds on the 'Playing for the Planet Alliance' established in 2019 that aims to encourage video game companies to strengthen their climate change objectives and commitments.
