The smart camera company Wyze Labs has been hit by two data breaches, revealing the personal information of millions of its customers. According to CNN, the first data leak exposed customer email addresses, the email addresses of those who were given permission to view the camera feeds, and the list of cameras in customers' home and tokens used to connect to smartphones. According to the New York Times, this breach lasted 23 days, and was caused by an employee's mistake. A second data leak was also publicly confirmed by the company, though what was stored on this second database remains unknown. The breach was disclosed on December 26, 2019 by Twelve Security.
