The World Health Organization (WHO) published a report titled 'Children and Digital Dumpsites' aimed at addressing the hazardous impact of the informal processing of discarded electrical or electronic devices on the health of people working in the informal waste sector, especially on children and mothers. The report summarises the latest scientific knowledge on the issue and intends to raise awareness and call to action to reduce children's exposure to e-waste.
