Facebook announced that it has changed its algorithms to reduce political content in users' news feed. The first countries to be affected by the changes are Canada, Brazil, Indonesia, and the USA. The company indicated that political content will not be banned altogether. Posts from official government agencies will be excluded from the algorithm change. The company did not clarify how the algorithm will define political content.
