A former UberEats delivery worker filed a lawsuit against the company for unfair dismissal, after having her account on UberEats terminated for allegedly being 10 minutes late with an order. In the lawsuit, the worker wants to have her employment status recognised, to be reintegrated into the platform, and to be paid the Australian minimum wage, which is currently AUD$18.93. The worker brought the dispute to a federal court after the Fair Work Commission (FWC) found that she was not employed by Uber.
