Uber announced it will be introducing upfront pricing in the UK. With the introduction of upfront pricing, riders and drivers will know the exact cost of their trip before they confirm. The company will base the fixed price on the best available route between the rider's pickup and drop off locations. Moreover, the expected duration and distance of the trip will be used to calculate the price, while taking into account traffic patterns.
