Twitter warns users that they may be targets of a 'state sponsored attack'

Twitter is alerting some of its users that their accounts may have been targeted by state sponsored actors. Users are informed that 'these actors (possibly associated with a government) may have been trying to obtain information such as email addresses, IP addresses and/or phone numbers.' The company also notes that it is actively investigating the matter. More details here.
