Tax reliefs for Internet companies in India and China

Tax reliefs on Internet companies are being discussed in both India and China. In India, the telecom ministry has proposed a ten-year tax 'holiday' for big projects in the IT sector in order to draw investment. In China, the State council of Beijing is offering tax concessions to Chinese hi-tech companies, lowering their corporate tax from 25 to 15 percent.
