Singapore's Infocom media Development Authority (IMDA) begins a public consultation process in response to a preliminary IoT cybersecurity guide

Singapore's Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) issued a draft version ofan Internet of Things (IoT) Cyber Security Guide. The guide aims to promote the implementation of best cybersecurity practices for IoT devices among IoT developers and users. This preliminary version of the guide includes key principles of IoT security and recommendations for improving security. In addition, the IMDA has begun a process of public consultation in the matter, asking the public and the industry for their views and comments to be added to the next version of the guide.
