Preserving the Shona Linguistic Heritage

A new online app, the Chii? Shona Language Learning App, developed to help promote the learning of one of Zimbabwe's widely spoken language among children in the Diaspora and beginners. The app attempts to help reverse the dominating influence of English globally, and to help save African languages from extinction, according to 'Zimbabwe: Preserving the Shona Linguistic Heritage in the Diaspora', an interview with MJDK spokesperson and business entrepreneur Jane Doka.
