Cloud networking and security need performanceto deliver benefits. These architectures are more distributedandcomplexdespite their simple consumption models. As aresult, Cisco Catalyst 8200Ledge platformsare not structured to run on-premises services in an SD-Branch scenario.  Cisco Catalyst 8200L contain four customx86 CPU cores and4GB of default DRAMfor faster traffic forwarding. Traffic goingto the cloud must be kept secure, so we've also added enhancedencryption performancevia anIntel QuickAssistTechnology (QAT) engine. These capabilities combine toprovideultra-fasttunneling to the cloud.  

Catalyst 8200L provide small branchesup to 1500IPSecTunnels and up to 500 Mbps of SD-WANIPSec throughput, which ishigher than its ISR 4321 predecessor.
