The joint task for data protection and international arbitration by the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCBA) and the International Bar Association (IBA) announced the release of the draft of the ICCA-IBA Roadmap to Data Protection in International Arbitration for public comments. The draft deals with the lack of clarity in data protection regulation when applied in arbitration.The roadmap aims to guide arbitrators in identifying and understanding data protection and privacy obligations in an international arbitration context. The roadmap is open to comments until 31 March 2020.
