The National Quantum Office (NQO) of Singapore, the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, IQM Quantum Computers, and CSC -IT Centre for Science have concluded a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate in quantum technologies research and development (R&D). Cooperation areas will include quantum technology hardware components, algorithms, and applications, quantum-accelerated high-performance computing, and satellite quantum communications. The exchange of knowledge on national roadmaps for quantum technologies is also envisioned. NQO -part of Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research -is responsible for developing and executing the country's National Quantum Strategy. VTT and IQM Quantum Computers are working together on building Finland's first 54-qubit quantum computer. CSC -IT Centre for Science is a Finnish centre of expertise in ICT.
