The European Skills Agenda for sustainable competitiveness, social fairness and resilience has been released by the EU Commission. The agenda addresses the acquisition and development of skills in response to the digital and increasingly green transition, the so-called 'twin transition'. While the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the digital transition, it also accentuated the digital skills gap. The document highlights that the EU will support digital skills for all by updating its Digital Education Action Plan, implementing the Digital Europe Programme, and providing support to digital crash courses.
