OnePlus, the smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China, announced having suffered a data breach. In a corporate post, the company stated it had discovered that some of their users' order information was accessed by an unauthorized party. The data includes certain users' name, contact number, email and shipping address. All impacted users were notified via email. According to the Verge, this is not OnePlus' first security incident. In 2018, the company informed 40,000 customers that they had been affected by a security breach, comprising their credit card information.
