International Justice Mission (IJM), has developed a research approach for estimating the prevalence and trafficking of child sexual exploitation online. IJM will be implementing it in the Philippines this year. The approach has been developed by a council of 24 experts and researchers from different sectors and in collaboration with the Philippine government and global stakeholders such as Nottingham Rights Lab. To develop the method, the council combined national household surveys using the Network Scale-up Method (NSUM) with data science analysis of a range of secondary datasets.
